Unfortunately online dating has its risks. People may deceive you in to thinking they are something they aren’t. This is always frustrating, and a complete waste of time. It can also make you more dubious with the next person you meet. It’s important to be smart about this to avoid it happening again and keep yourself free of time wasters.

If they told you they ran their own business and then you find out they work at a fast food restaurant, this is probably forgivable. It will raise the question of what else they weren’t honest about though. Be up front and let them know you don’t appreciate this, and they need to go ahead and come clean.
